27th

Oink oink. Bruno's new toy. It only lasted a day as a pig - it now looks like a odd poodle!

Claire was modelling at the Summer Sling Show today. She was wearing a new style Ergo which Bruno thought was very comfy...

24th

Granny has been to stay to look after Bruno whilst Claire is recovering from the op. Bruno spent every day reading all his books with her. He loved it - especially when she shared her donut with him! He learnt "copter" and "book" during her stay too.

16th

Almost at the 16m mark. Bruno is definitely learning words quickly and knows loads if you ask him to point to things he generally gets it right. Let's be fair, he's not going to say butterfly for a while but he knows what it is in the book :o)

He likes snakes and sees them everywhere including outside our windows - the ivy hanging down. At first it started as a little "sss" but now its definitely "snake!" He has a few favourite books which all have snakes or cows in so you can guess what the other noise he makes is.

In the park he'll point out the planes all day long. His pointing is so cute!

We have a new game too. Up/down. It can be played anywhere at anytime and generally doesn't need anything to hide behind to say boo either. He looks like he's in training!

The camera is back! Just in time for Claire's debut on the catwalk with Bruno at the Summer Sling Show.

Bruno posing with his books. He actually sits still & smiles when he sees the camera now. He will read his books all day. Nothing else is as engrossing at the moment but then he does have more than mummy & daddy put together! His collection is fit for a library which is lucky as our library books are fit only for the bin!

13th - Trip to the Park

We went to St James' Park today for a little picnic. Bruno tucked into pasta with chicken, tomatoes & basil courtesy of M&S. He even managed a fork :o)

He also had some of Claire's raspberry mousse & Adam's profiteroles. Oddly, he preferred the mousse!

He must be going through a growth spurt at the moment - Bruno that is. All he does is eat. He had as much dinner this evening (Jamie's sticky chicken with tomatoes and potatoes recipe) as Claire and then had 2 fromage frais before hitting on some more potatoes!

Playing with the sand. Needless to say, he tried to eat it and managed to get it all over his face! He wasn't too keen on his new hat. Its a bit big for him so kept fallilng over his eyes.

Bruno has learnt some new signs this week. He understands a lot but doesn't normally use any. This weekend he has used MORE to get more pudding (ice cream, fromage frais, mousse) and also ALL DONE - whilst Claire was sat on a swing with him. He only gave her a few seconds to stop swinging before he attempted to leap off her lap. Still, its a progress on the communication front :o)

11th

Chef in the making!

Playing in the park this morning. He found a mud puddle so got a tad messy as did mum!

9th

Well it only seemed like yesterday but today was the JP Morgan Chase Challenge again. Bruno helped watch the bags for the Tenon team last year and despite the foul weather he agreed to do so again. He was also official eater for the group and ate 2 burgers along with half a pack of biscuits during the wait! Everyone was impressed with how good he was and how well he was eating. Now there's an advert for BLW!!

We got home, soaked through, well I was, ready for a rather later than usual bedtime. Bruno was bone dry bar his feet as he doesn't have any wellies yet. Do they do them in size 4?

6th

Bruno decided it was time to sit in the big chair. He can now clamber into / over anything!

One of his favourite books of the moment - The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

Reading books all weekend - this last photo is Bruno entertaining himself whilst the Men's Finals is played out at Wimbledon. Check out HOW MANY he's read and that was only at set 3!!

1st July

We went to the park on the way home this evening. They had the sprinklers on. We met friends and Bruno & Thomas enjoyed playing with the water. Thomas was the more sensible of the two and Bruno ended up soaked!

He said star at nursery today when holding up a starfish. He likes to moo now too :o)
