March 2009

There are lots of videos on facebook but you have to register with the website to see them.  I can't load them on here - they are too big!

31st

Some photos from a recent trip to the park.  It was freezing cold so lots of runny nose photos!  He met a policewoman but wasn't too keen on talking to her.

Bruno is into his ball again after a long period of ignoring it.  He's learning to throw well and can kick it (although often not in the right direction!).  He can't quite catch it yet but he's getting there - he just moves his arms after I've told him to have them out straight!

Another birthday party & cake - this time with Granny & Granddad....

Granddad gave Bruno the toy of the month - a road sweeper!

Bruno's cake bus...

Playing with Granddad

Out in the garden with Granny...

Bruno likes to run up & down the garden.

Home from Granny's and the first thing he does is get out all the books we took there that he didn't want to read!  He didn't even make it into the living room - he's sat right by the front door reading Hairy McLary's Bone

16th

Some more photos from the weekend...

Playing with the car that Nanny gave him.  "Here it comes!"

Building a tower with some blocks from Granny.  He was ever so pleased when he got over 3 blocks in his tower.  Invariably they then got knocked over again!

15th

Bruno went to nursery for Red Nose Day - he even learned how to say it.  And here's one with a red nose....

The roadworks are still going on outside - Bruno was waiting for the dumper.

Check out the bed hair!

We went to the Science Museum for a quick tour of the basement this morning.  Having seen Cameron enjoy The Garden so much we took Bruno in there.  He was a bit overawed by the amount of people and older kids generally pushing people around but enjoyed it after a while.  I think he preferred the planes more though!

Making bubbles underwater.  The button was quite hard to push and you had to hold it down long enough for sufficient bubbles to form under a plastic lid which then forced the lid upwards.  Bruno was so chuffed when he finally held the button down long enough for the lid to move.

Bruno thought all the propellers were windmills.  He was quite adamant about it too!

Had enough of not being allowed to run around under the airplane!

Learning about Uncle Simon's job... looks a bit easy just push any old button... might have changed a bit since this was rigged up though!

Like father, like son... what did catch their eye I wonder?!

12th

What do you think Bruno's favourite song is?

Here's a clue!

7th

He enjoyed it alot - soggy trousers up to his knees & soaked trousers!

We had a lovely time in the park.  It was so sunny that Bruno got a lesson about his shadow.

Bruno discovered magnets a while back.  It took a while to get going but now he enjoys making pictures by putting magnets "on the board"...

... and the end result...

4th

Its been a long time since we took any photos of Bruno asleep - he is much easier to wake these days!  So I took some extra close up ones...

We have a dumper truck & a digger outside at the moment.  Bruno is in his element although he daily wishes the road sweeper would drive past!

Here are some photos from a trip to St James' Park last week.

Before he was left to run amok with the pigeons & squirrels - note the rather nasty well sucked edge of the coat!!

Surprisingly the sand pit was still very clean & dry but we'd forgotten any bucket like container to use so Bruno had to make do with making piles on the walk way.

Chasing squirrels was the best entertainment ever.  I don't think even Woody ever had as much fun with them!

The people who were trying to feed them were naturally less impressed...

Bruno took his job as pigeon chaser very seriously!
