May 24th

Well, we're back from holiday and still no camera.  We did take Adam's camera with us on holiday so a few photos for you.

Tasting stones.  They aren't that nice and he found out after ohh only about 10!  Luckily, he's a BLW baby so we don't need to worry about choke hazards so much ;o)

Stacking buckets in the conservatory on holiday.

The best thing in the world... ever!

What a cutie!  With limited access to toys - we took 3 books and 3 toys for the whole week - Bruno really got into his animal flash cards.  He knows the cow, the dog and possibly the horse.

Pasta followed by yoghurt.  A typical face!

Bruno learnt how to climb up & down a whole flight of stairs whilst we were in Cornwall.  He also fell in love with a windmill and enjoyed playing the "oh no mummy's got no eyes" game - aka take off her sunglasses!  He also ate a lot and when I mean a lot I mean whole fishes!

There are lots more holiday photos here.

May 11th

Well, another month has passed and Bruno is almost 14 months.  Claire's camera is broken so not a lot of photo shoot happenings over here.  So here's an update of what the monster is doing at the moment without pictures.

Bruno is walking - well taking a few steps when you let go and he walks into your arms.  That's walking in my eyes!  He will walk around holding onto your hand but for speed crawling is clearly the best.... and then there's the monkey walking - crawling with feet.  Why?  Its fun perhaps but its very slow!

We're stacking buckets over here - its great fun and he'll even stand up to put the last few on.  Then of course you get to push it over and start again ;o)

Bruno got over his lost confidence on the stairs today too.  He finally started crawling down them again after he rolled down them a few weeks ago.  He happily went up & down all day chasing his ball.  The ball is the game de rigeur - constant throwing & playing fetch.  Woody would have loved it!

Bruno's signing is coming along.  He does milk when he's desperate although crying often works just as well & is a well known catch all for "I want...".  He likes trees and will sign tree as we walk passed.  We then stop and touch which means coming home from nursery can take a long time!!

Here's the latest artwork - finally got the scribbling going :o)

Bruno has ill again this past week.  We thought it was just the teeth but he was still miserable after 2 popped out and when nursery asked us to go fetch we decided it was time to see the Doc.  Obviously, we knew that meant antibiotics which are a nightmare so didn't really want them but he's got an ear infection...  5 days and the fever broke yesterday but he's still miserable - heat?  more teeth?  the new decor?!  Fingers crossed for a better week this week.
