Chloe's Visit 2008 Chloe's has been for her annual visit to London and spent most of the time entertaining Bruno so we all had a relaxing week! Here is a summary of what we all got up to. Day 1 - Sunday
Monday Adam dropped us off at the Victoria & Albert Museum where we spent a few hours looking at some of the exhibits there. Claire liked the backgammon set the best.
We then hit the park with Bruno for balls, bubbles and bounces.

After the butterflies (& moths!) it was off to Brighton for lunch and the beach. Bruno loved the stones and Chloe loved her hallumi pitta. job done! Naturally they fell asleep on the way. Don't they look similar?
Friday A day for chilling in the sun (& clouds!) at Hyde Park in the Lido. Some brave (foolish?) people even went for a swim in the Serpentine.

Saturday - Return to Lincoln A few photos at Simon & Diane's. Sadly, Bruno was not in a photogenic mood!

Adam
and Claire
Claire
had already planned to model at the Summer Sling Show so we headed out there for
the start and checked out all the different slings. Claire found a jazzy
new Sleepy Nico and modelled the new style Ergo while Bruno slept. It was
hot & sticky and not a pleasant day to carry around 11kg of hot body!
After
the show we had a mini picnic in Red Lion Square with a few of Claire's friends.
Bruno ran amuck with a bandanna on his head and some soggy cheese sandwiches!

Granny
& Granddad came to visit so before they arrived we hit the swing park.
Although Adam & Chloe probably had more fun!

Chloe's
birthday treat was a trip to the Tutankhamun Exhibition at O2 Arena. We
weren't allowed to take any photos but it was a fun day out. We went by
Thames Clipper.

More
a treat for Bruno in the morning when we went to the maze and butterfly house at
the Natural History Museum. It was great fun although we were followed by
a family with a toddler that was scared of them so shrieked in Claire's ear a
lot! The maze took us through the life cycle of a butterfly from egg to
butterfly and back again. The above photos were taken at the "attract a
mate stage". Claire & Chloe took photos of lots of butterflies while Bruno
ran around pointing at them and generally scaring them away!
This
was probably the second largest "thing" there. It looks more like a bat
and was the size of one! The 2 below were HUGE and thankfully had only
just broken out of their cocoon - really wouldn't want one of those landing on
you!

A
scorching 30 degrees in London and a tad chillier in Brighton!
The
water was a tad cold!
Bruno
discovered the cold water shower whilst Adam & Chloe were swimming. Cue
clothing change no2!
